King Arthur (legend based) - Prologue

There we go: the re-read of the prologue is done and I was not too unhappy with it, so I decided to share the story. There is no header because I do not have a title yet, no rating, no pairings, no nothing. I will have to see on which archive I will/can upload it. I still think ff.net is one of the most easiest archives to deal with.

I am so excited that you returned to this!! And I enjoyed reading this opening sequence between Morgaine and Guinevere! You did a fine job of describing them both and the tiny room in the Abbey where Guinevere is living out her elderly years. And of course you have me intrigued as to where and how Morgaine is taking Guin back to the past to show her the truth. Very atmospheric job with the candles and light and dark descriptions in the room too. You have always been very good at setting the mood in a scene!

Keep going!!!!

Thank you, dear! This is really much appreciated and I am happy that you took the time to read it although you have so much work to do at the moment!
Good to hear that I did not fail completely with the description of the surroundings. I will stick to pretty short chapters as this makes it easier for me to write more often.

Love,
Charlie.

Oh, I love this. It evokes such a mood. And while I knew the story (since it's me) and immediately knew this was Guinevere, I loved your reveal of her. And I found myself getting antsy to see where it would go - would she trust Morgaine?

Keep going, honey. And feel free to email me if you want to discuss anything. I look forward to more.

Thank you, dear - for reading and the great feedback! I was afraid that it would be too short as I assume in my native language it would be double in ist length. I admit that shorter pieces make it easier for me to write and post more often. And I have the feeling that the story just moves on (one of the losing interest problems).

Rainy weekend ahead so maybe I can add another chapter on Monday.

Take care
Charlie

Glad to see that you started writing again! (My muse seems to have dried up, myself).

I really liked this! I think you have some strong imagery here, and good descriptions in this short piece. :)

Keep going! :)

Thank you for that kind feedback, dear! I cannot wait to continue this but at the moment work is crazy to no end. So the creativity has to wait.

Take care
Charlie.
