Almost no no time for LJ during the last 5 months but as I am back from Iceland I want to share some of my pictures with you here. I admit, I was too lazy to add proper descriptions to the pictures.

Oh my goodness what stunning photos!!! What an incredible landscape. And the Icelandic ponies were adorable!! I want them!! *laughs* You have a great eye with photos, dear. Well done. It looks very cold there - but I would love to visit myself one day. Breathtaking!! Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful photos with us!!!
I hope that we can catch up soon. I am having a hard time just getting my work done, but one day things will calm down. *laughs*

Thank you, dear! I am really happy that you love the pictures! It was not easy to choose the best out of our more than 1.000 pictures. We had to try a lot due to the difficult light.
In fact it was not that cold (approx. -6C) but the wind makes it feel much, much colder. We wore several layers of clothes and 2 pair of gloves sometimes. But I would retourn immediatly again (the northern lights were really hard to catch as we had a low activity only). I assume we will return in summer as the country is completey different then and there are a lot things you cannot do/visit in winter (and the other way round).
Gosh, poor you! Do not work too hard, dear. I am tired to no end lately so I am not much online myself. But I have no doubt that we will catch up one day!
Wow, that's lovely! I know my grandmother loved it when she visited, and now you've made me want to! I hope y'all really enjoyed it and thanks for sharing these here. xo
It seems that I am just repeating the same words again and again: you should certianly visit that country, dear. I am sure you would love it, too. It is really fascinating and very inspiring. I came back with a pile of ideas for my characters I write currently.
Oh wow, these photos are really beautiful and amazing! Another friend of mine is in Iceland too right now. Think I need to go there too some day... !! :D
Thank you, dear! I am glad you liked them and YES, you should certainly visit Iceland. It is worth the efforts and all the money you will spend there. I think I have never seen something so beautiful, impressing and old, due to all the vulcanic activities.
