This was my first year participating in Yuletide, and it was a lot of fun. And now I can officially thank my authors, glaikery and scribblemoose. I hope you both had fun writing my somewhat oddly-phrased requests, and I adored your stories. Thank you!

Just dropping by because I didn't get a notification for your second comment and wanted to say how pleased I am you liked it, but more importantly, to thank you for the prompt. I've been itching to write a scene like this ever since I finished The Virtu, but I couldn't quite find a motivation that fitted - until I read your prompt. Then it all fell into place: that's exactly how it would work. And lo and behold, I wrote it and it all seemed to fall into place. So really, the credit is yours - well, and Mildmay and Felix's, of course. ;)

Happy New Year!

Aw, yay! I'm very glad my weird secret fantasy was inspirational to someone besides myself. :)

Happy New Year to you too!

Also dropping by in lieu of an email comment reply - I was so grateful for your comment (because I am a horrible person freak, I was still up when I received the notification, which was such a fabulous beginning to Yuletide)! But beyond that, the care with which you've gone to commenting about the stories written for you and the incredibly kind things you said about the story I wrote were just - I honestly almost don't know what to say.

I was looking forward to writing Gentleman Bastards as soon as I got the request, and despite a rather terrible episode of putting it off (because of Procrastination Flaw; I do it all the time, try as I might to do better along those lines; I'd've done it for anything XP), I had so much fun writing! I am so very glad you enjoyed it!

And really, I can't thank you enough for your generous and lovely comments at Yuletide and LJ; your post made my day. This is not to mention how pleased GB fandom - what little there is of it now - makes me (p.s. the story you wrote, I noticed; <3 Locke and Jean...and the ( ... )

This is totally the nicest comment ever! I'm very glad my comments made you happy; it was the least I could do for such an amazingly lovely story. And yay for GB fandom, definitely!

And Happy Yuletide to you too. :D
