cool of you to go for a first person narrative, I enjoy first person, and I always like ugly!schach too. I'm not sure if soft contact lenses existed in the 70s, but I could be wrong. lol Either way this was a cute little read, I enjoyed it. :)

They came out in 1971, actually. I did a wee bit of research before even taking the prompt. Plus think about the universe. They probably came out before then. Anyway! Glad you like it!

Yeah. With the invention of useless (well, useless except for ONE thing) latex that hold fluid and is still breathable and see through by the early 60's I'm sure they had contact lenses. Dan just has a poor sense of style and sticks with those goggles of glasses of his.
