Sometimes I wonder if I am productive sitting here in one hotel or another. On one hand I am here for my work bringing in a substantial sum, yet my personal life at home slips by without me.

I remember seeing my kids grow older and bigger in flashes, the same for my plants and my pets, and of course the weeds took advantage of my absence

I can understand what you mean... I've often thought that I'd not have the strength to do what you do. Earning well is great, but if you're never home to enjoy it... What does it do besides bring you stress? My neighbors had the same situation when I was growing up. They had a beautiful home, complete with an indoor pool and hot tub, but to afford it they had three family-run businesses that kept them away or busy so much that they never used it. My friend and I were the only ones who used the hot tub for years, and the two of us couldn't keep after the pool without additional help, so it fell into total disuse. I'd hate to see the same thing happen to you.

I've always admired you for your dynamic interests and lifestyle, and it's something I want to retain as I establish myself. It would be sad to see you lose it to your job. *hug* I wish you well, and hope you get a breather soon.
