That post just made my day.sir_ricealotOctober 1 2004, 17:05:13 UTC
WOW. that post was AWESOME. and I thought *I* was a big dork...haha j/k I would think that going uphill in high heels IS easier...I'm imagining that the back heel of the shoe is helping you push up against the hill, making it easier to walk up.
As for the pictures, you hit the "rich text" link and it'll bring you to an update screen with more options (it kinda works like frontpage). Just hit up the "Add image button" and you can put in the link to where your pic is located.
As for where to store your pics so that you'll get a relevant link to put in your LJ, try Photobucket. JPS told me about it and it works like a charm. Good luck!
more proof of the geekiness found in my family...hohoco_incOctober 1 2004, 21:09:53 UTC
hahaha....B (and D), we gotta stop doing things like this that adds more proof to the geekiness found in our family. We all know that Darren is the biggest geek of all, but we need to keep that gap to separate ourselves from it. *I* like to think I'm 'normal' compared to you guys! :P
but of course, inserting the URL of the picture where the yadayadayada is, by right clicking on an image and going its properties. also, you have to add triangle brackets around the whole html command for it to work. i did it, and then it just came up as an "X" cause it thought i was posting a picture! silly lj...
i will have to investigate this so-called "rich text" link...
