Well I agree for the most part that, if in fact this is true, it's a sick twisted &$%# waste of skin... I'm hesitant, because that site is run by Peta. :(

Peta makes it very well known that they do NOT support animals and animal rescue. In fact, they support the total anihilation of specific breeds of dog. :S

Not someone who I can take at face value, for sure.

I agree, PETA is an extremely bizarre organization. They claim they are for animal rights, but seem to concentrate on showing school children gory pictures of cows being killed for food, etc. They are an extremist organization who think that cats and dogs should be wandering the streets as opposed to living in captivity with humans. (I know my dog absolutely LOATHES me for providing her with great food, water, toys, treats, exercise, love and health care...She'd much rather battle the elements on the street. *eyeroll*)

Thanks for the link Kathy! True or not, it's a great reminder to people that "free to a good home" is an extremely dangerous offer.
