After dealing with Ensign Bates all day, Katie is more than happy when her shift is over. Going back to her quarters, she takes a quick shower to wash away the dirt from that day's away mission. She's just gotten dressed, and has her hair up in a loose ponytail when her communicator goes off.

Bounding over, she answers it, grinning when she sees who it is. "Mike! They actually let you off the bridge, I see," she says with a grin.

He smiles and leans forward over the desk to get closer to the monitor. So he can get closer to her. "I'm on a short leash," is the quick comeback. "You look great. You just get off duty?"

She too leans closer, her elbows propped on the table. "How come I don't have a leash for you?" she asks with a playful look. "And you're looking pretty good yourself, Commander." She nods then. "Been off-duty for about forty minutes. Had to take a shower since I spent most of the day on away mission. How about you? How was your day?"

He smirks at the leash comment. Katie always gives as good as she gets. "Routine. After the last couple of days on New Vulcan, it's a nice change. I'm still downing water like it's going out of style."

"You're lucky I like you so much, Commander," Katie says with a smile as she stands. "Wait there."

Going back to her room, she gets the bikini on. When she comes back out, she makes sure to do a little twirl before sitting down again. "Is this what you wanted?" she asks with a smile.

He whistles in pure appreciation. "You wouldn't want to do that twirly thing again, would you?"

"I don't know," she says with a look of innocence. "Do I get something in return?"

"I'm sure I could think of something worthwhile," is the immediate comeback. "Truth is I'm hoping the second time around it might fall off."

What can he say? Katie's hot.

"If I were there, I'd help you but," she holds up her hands and smirks, "I can't reach through the screen. Besides, it's not like I'm sitting her naked."

"Tell that to my head." Which one is open to interpretation.

Katie giggles and shakes her head. "You're adorable, Mike," she says before shifting in her chair and moving closer to the screen. "How come you get to see me half naked, and I don't get the same courtesy?"

"You saying you want me to do a little twirl?" He grins in amusement.

"Oh, come on, Mike. Where's your sense of adventure?" She laughs. "All right, how about this - you can give me a private show and I'll pay you by doing this new thing I learned with my mouth..."

"Do I want to know where you learned this new thing?"

"I didn't learn it from anyone. I learned it from... somewhere," she says with a blush.

"And you're gunna tell me where that someplace was?" he asks with a smirk. "Or is it a secret?"

"Yeah, I know," Katie says with a laugh. "You're lucky you're so bloody adorable, though!"
