good for you! congrats on the good work. i wouldn't stress about the scale - water weight during your period is common and the scale can read plus or minus five lbs because of water weight, or even the food that you have recently eaten etc, so i'd only weigh in once a week at most. i've been told that the body usually can only loose around 2-3 lbs of fat per week and that the rest is usually water weight (especially when changing diet)...also note that sometimes the scale may stay the same even though you've lost fat but since you're working out you might gain muscle and that of course weighs more, so yeah, go by how you feel not the numbers!
Yea, I try to not even weigh once a week.. or once a month or anything. I've been more prone to it lately just because I'm so worried about gaining back and I've been not doing so well.. but overall I know its more about changing my habits and how I feel rather than the numbers on the scale :) Its just so darn tempting!
The week after my period was a big loss week too. Same with my roomie. 5-6 pounds gone just like *snap* that. Since I didn't loose (or gain) anything the week of the period it was like a combined 2 week loss. Works for me. I'll be starting soon and I hope to see those kind of loss numbers afterward.
