I've been looking around at "Before and After" weightloss sites again.. and you know what I found..? You know how I'm always wanting to make a bigggg longggg list of things I want to be able to do after weightloss? Well one of these profiles did the same thing.. but! Then she put the date next to the item after she had lost enough weight to do it! ( Read more... )

Hey its great to see how you are all fired up and feeling inspired. If I can say something though - please don't try to do too much at one time, because you might set yourself up for a fall. I have found the best habits are ones you gain bit by bit - eg: I hated drinking water - and just didn't drink it at all up to 2003. Beginning of 2004 I decided I would drink one glass of water for every other drink I drank - first! So I would drink a glass of water, then a glass of diet coke/orange juice/hot chocolate/whatever. Before I knew it I was cutting down the other drinks and drinking more water, and now I love a glass of cold water from the fridge and have no problems drinking lots each day. It's lifestyle change, I guess, rather than "going on a diet/plan" (which its easy to "go off"). Please ignore me if I'm out of line!

Congrats on doing the workout earlier! I find I let my busy-ness get in the way of exercising sometimes :( From reading your journal though, I absolutely know that you are going to make it! {{hugs}}

I know it will be hard, but I know I can do it.. last december I tackled doing all of them and I did really great every single day with everything. Now I keep trying to get back on track which each thing slowly and it doesnt seem to be working :( I think my main issue is a schedule - because I just forget. I'll eat healthy but forget to workout, or do those and forget to get in all my water.

I dunno I guess I'll try it and see how it works. My lack of concentration is my main issue so I need to conquer that ;p

Its funny I'm not really busy that much at all - friends and whoever just always seem to want to do something right when I'm going to work out. It seems silly but my body gets in these modes where I reallly really want to work out but only at certain times.. which is why its so hard for me to just work out at a different time. Its like I'm not doing anything ALL day then suddenly I decide to work out sooon and I get a call to leave. *rolls eyes* :)

haha I think I was a bit energetic when I wrote it which may be the cause for "positiveness" :)

I'm gonna make a post Sunday about it, just attempting to either do or not do something for 23 days or so.. because supposedly after 21 days it becomes a habit, so I figured 21 days.. then a day or two to just absolutely make sure :)

no :( I skip around randomly on the sites .. it was just a list you know like "Be able to ride rollercoasters again" or "wear cute matching panties that don't look huge" or "be able to go to a theme park without getting exhausted quickly" and whenever she accomplished one she'd put the date next to it :)
