Petting people is inappropriate.

I was at Mick Kelly's today eating lunch with Keisha and there were some ladies sitting behind me and I head them get up to leave and heard some mention of "beautiful hair" and all of a sudden they were petting my hair. I didn't even know what to do ( Read more... )

Except that petting also means something sexual, but I guess people could see the shirt either way.

Ooh! Or "just because my hair is long doesn't mean it's okay to pet me." But that's too long so yours is probably better.

In Japan, it's accepted for other women to touch pregnant women's bellies and grab their breasts. Probably among friends, I'm assuming--I never saw it happen. It's also somehow exceptable for foreign male teachers to get groped by students.

Japan is weird.

I think, like my hair, it wouldn't bug me as much for friends to touch a pregnant belly (if I had one) but if it was a stranger, I'd definitely have problems with that!

As for breasts? Yeah, I'd have problems with anybody grabbing my breasts. Well, except Joel, of course.
