Joel and I got our new puppy, Iona today. She's a cute little ball of fur. We actually hit the wrong day to drive over the Malahat (our breeder lives on the other side). There was lots of rain yesterday and today and there was a drainage problem on the highway, so at one point there was a bit of a lake blocking the highway. We had to drive through ( Read more... )

I'm so jealous. I want a pair of puppies...

How old is Islay now?

I'm impressed at how well they seem to be getting along. Islay trying to share her toys is just tooo cute!

Islay turned one at the end of October (and Iona was born at the end of September -- they're just 11 months and three days apart in age).

It's funny because at first Islay was really possessive and trying to defend her toys any time she saw Iona even look like she was going to go for one. After a few hours of wrestling (then resting then wrestling then resting), Islay decided it was time to let her play with her toys. She's actually pretty good about that; she does the same thing with other dogs too and it's so funny and sweet!
