* woke up at 5:45, left house by 6:15, climbed 80 flights of stairs at the IMA by 7:15
* met with sensei about whether or not to accept job opportunity in Japan: no objections to it from sensei
* had lunch with professor I'll be TAing for and Ryan, the other TA
* got 4 free books (I love being a TA) and bought 1

Take it Take it Take it!!! Oh, was that me saying that for purely selfish reasons? Well, not entirely selfish, cause what you told me about the job sounds sweet, and that's not so bad of a location. I'm happy to come down and meet you for jaunts to Kyoto and Osaka - I bet we could have lots of stupid fun. I suppose we could go to Tokyo too since it's close too, but go Kansai! Can you tell I just got back from a weekend in Kyoto and I'm totally in love?
