say, how was your experience at Creative Alliance? I was thinking of interning there next semester, but I'd prefer to do something more hands-on and arty and less administrative.

they are really disorganized and its always hectic there, so for awhile i was just doing a lot of odds and ends things. therefore i didn't really like it cause i was stuck putting stamps on like 800 post cards or something like that. but that sort of banal thing is what everyone there does. i think it wouldn't be that bad if you went to intern and knew exactly what you wanted to do and you went on evenings to help with events or something. but yeah, it was very administrative.

i totally think time off before grad school is the way to go. maybe i said this already.

My ptg prof recommends on a list of things to do: Visit Europe at least once before age 25, especially Italy. I haven't done this yet but I encourage you on it as well as it is in the back of my head.
