Well, Mischter Connery WAS James Bond. Also, much older, so it works out as roughly the same...

It's at least 10 years overdue. Really, the kind of people I see walking around with this level of official honours and stuff, it's disgraceful that PTerry is being given it so late. Honestly, PTerry has done a lot more for the rep of UK outside than many many other things.

Well, he got an OBE for services to literature a while ago, in addition to numerous honorary doctorates, so he's probably quite blase about it by now.
