Heeeell no! :p It's a chore for me to have the kids on time for school at 8. Ha. I don't enjoy shopping enough to get up that early. Or should I say I don't enjoy shopping around crazy people that much. ;)
I got sucked into black friday shopping one year with my mom and aunts. I hated every minute of it-I've stuck with the men and football games since. :) I would rather pay full price and keep my sanity.
Its really not bad here @ all. None of that screaming, shoving crazy crap. Lines tend to be long but ppl are great. I was talking to everyone I was in line with today, and @ TRU, the line was *long* and I had those 3 items and no cart (too hard to move around in our TRU with a cart, esp on BF) and the woman in front of me INSISTED I put my stuff in her cart so I didnt have to carry it while we waited in line. At one point she picked up one of my items from the ground (diapers- I was pushing them with my foot) and put it in the cart and was like "We're going to be next to each other in line for awhile anyway, you'll get tired of holding all that stuff."
She was SO nice about it. We chatted each other up while in line =) She was right too, it REALLY wouldve sucked to hold onto that for 30 min.
J and I watched one of those shows where the ppl go crazy and like fight over stuff on BF last night and its NEVER been like that here...
I went out for the first time :) Just to Wal-Mart, but it wasn't NEARLY the nightmare I had thought it would be. From all the horror stories I heard lol I got my girls each a pair of the $4 jammies at Wal-Mart :) $4 fuzzy 'crocs'. They had TONS of those towels at the wal-mart I was at. Only like 2 sets left of the 700 count thread sheets. I got a few odds and end toys. The $10 ones. Got me a pair of $8 LEI jeans. A TON of $2 DVD's. It was fun :) And I was up at 6am and out by 7am, that was after I drank a toooooooooon the night before and passed out hard core lol I would do it again :) Only I wish I had more money!!! hehe
