I'm on the third one. I was blown away by the second one, thinking that it couldn't be any better than the first, but it was just as good. I also bought Chimera and Basilisk with Micheal and Stephan. I started on Basilisk and was totally into it as well, when I realized it was the second one so stopped to get the first. But then grabbed Madhouse, so, ya know...

She is a fine writer. Totally gets it.

I know I must have recommended this because I love this series as much as Supernatural. So glad you enjoyed the books and characters. I always am aghast a how similar they are to Sam and Dean. But she started them kinda before the series. I think she isnt out to mock up the Winchesters. Its all happy coincidence.

I was more of the opinion that maybe Kripke had read these and who would care really? Why mess with a good thing?

Ha, the writers could take a page. Thurman is bolder than they are. The first book would have been already printed and awaiting distribution when Supernatural premiered in 2005. Its still cool ho they can be similar yet different.

The author is a fan of Supernatural, she comments about it on Twitter sometimes when new episodes are on.

I love Cal and Niko. That series is one of my all time favorites. I also enjoyed Chimera (still have to read Basilisk), and her new one All Seeing Eye. Not as big of a fan of her Trickster series, though I love the supporting cast.

I love these books, they are wonderful! Characters are great and the stories so much fun. I bought all her stuff and socked it into my Kindle! Can't wait until the next Cal book!
