 I guess I should put trigger warnings for self-harm. Kind of, but not really.  And spoilers up through Season 10. My take on what the Darkness could be. This is my first M rated fic mostly for the triggers, though it's not really that bad. Mostly drunken angst. Could just as easily be PG13 +++ Gen

Such a darkly wonderful fic!

I loved your interpretation of the Darkness and I can see Show doing something like this; a destructive force of inner turmoil and hopelessness, and a foe that they would struggle to fight and overcome. I also enjoyed the idea that Dean was somehow protected from it due to the Mark and key.

The opening imagery was creepy with the tendrils of Darkness attacking Sam, and how he puked black goo. It all felt very in tune with the show and characters.

Wow, what a chilling take on the Darkness. Loved how you tied the grammar incident and all Dean had said to Sam then with his despair now. Working in the "Always keep fighting" was genius!
