1. This post is in part prompted by a recent post on my friends list about republicans spying on democrats and the RIDICULOUS theory that republicans were in on 9/11 just to help them with "their" war.

First of all, let's talk about how serious terrorists are about their hatred for us.  Watch these:

Amen. At least there are Americans that aren't stupid and greedy.

1. And people say that Islam is a peaceful religion... Yeah, sure. Tell that to the people who witness the speeches on how the Muslims will kill anyone who won't convert to Islam.

2. Indeed, it's very true. Elliot Spitzer, anyone?
And anyone who has said that... That is a dumb ass quote. It's amazing how we focus on totally pointless things think that what happened is terribly bad. I say we have it lucky here in the United States. Terribly lucky. And some people (Hehe... More like most...) take it for granted.

3. Well, if Obama or Clinton are elected to be our president, it'll be like Jimmy Carter's presidency. History repeats itself, after all.

1) Yes, they want to do harm to us, I agree with that. That is what we need to guard against. We need to guard against it with ACTUAL working implementations of security. Our airport security is a joke, our port security is a joke, our border security is a joke. The occupation of Iraq has not made us more safe, it has diverted billions of dollars in funds that could have been used to implement real working security solutions, but it hasn't. The fact that it was based on the Bush administration blatantly lying to congress and the American people about Iraq's connection with Al-Qaeda and WMDs is just like an extra kick in the balls ( ... )

Oh, and no one thinks surveillance of terrorists or likely terrorist suspects is a bad thing. They even set up a special court to rubber-stamp the administrations request for warrants, I have to be suspicious of an administration that doesn't even bother going through what amounts to a formality that can even be done after the fact.

I'm very surprised that you have such a strong opinion on this but obviously don't realize what is really going on here. My point in my post was that republicans have no need to spy on them. C'mon!!! For what reason!? If Obama or Hilary or any important democrat fuck up, trust me, the news is gonna catch it without the help of any republican. Don't even get me going on ALL the things the dems have tried to do to shut republicans down...namely republican radio ( ... )

Thank you for posting this! I have friends that have this same basic attitude. It's fucking ridiculous. Look at the rest of the world and what terrorists are doing to it. America hasn't stayed safe so far for NO REASON.

There are people fighting and who have fought before. People who have died (BY CHOICE) for the good of every other US CITIZEN. And people seem to have forgotton about what a US CITIZEN is, but I will touch on that later. And they are laughing and prancing around hugging each other like idiots. I say send all those hot pink people over to IRAQ to fucking understand what is going on in the world.

I'm fighting too. I am very passionate and want the truth. I almost wanna give up and say "FINE! Let Obama or Hilary be president!" And once shit blows up people will finally see the truth.
