I’m in the final stages of legally changing my name to Cece. As part of the process I had to publish a notice in Rochester’s newspaper alerting people to the change. The wording of the notice is regulated and needed to include my address. I used my parents’ address since they live in NY and that’s the state I’ve been going through the process in ( Read more... )

That is funny and ..disturbing. Hopefully there were no more problems..

you were always CC to me... now you'll have to be CeCe...that'll take some getting used to. :)

Oh, you can still use CC. I just figured it would be easier to change to Cece because it's more of a "name" and less just two letters. "Cece" is also the spelling my father started using, and he was a tough one to get away from calling me Carla. I thought maybe if I used his spelling it would be a little easier on him. I'm pretty inconsistent...using Cece, cc, CC, C.C., cx2...whatever comes out...unless I need to use my "full" name.

There weren't any problems with inmates dropping by my parents' house...and my folks haven't mentioned an increase in the amount of junk mail I get at their house.
