Christ! Did the whole fucking planet forget about the Iran Contra scandal? Smuggling weapons and money to a vile group of warlords and future dictators seems less than admirable to me. The only thing I liked about Reagan was the amount of really good bands he inspired. Of course said musicians invariably hated him.

I'm sorry that I have been unable to muster more than a dry "thanks" to show my appreciation. Logging on to a daily support group has been helpful.

If you have ever seen Natural Born Killers then you know the cop who pulled us over this morning. He was the bald skinny prison guard. "We got a special dislikin' for these punkolas". Vincent has been having small seizures in his right arm since the surgery. This could be a transient occurance or indicative of a tiny portion of the left hemisphere of his brain suffering trauma during the surgery incident. The CAT scan didn't show any damage and the EEG didn't show anything too strange. The doctors are going to keep him dosed ( Read more... )

Vincent had his surgery yesterday. He lost 33% of his large intestine (that isn't as scary as it sounds). He should have a fully functioning bum in a few days. Now the bad news. Well, Erin popped at 2:08 wednesday morning. She is fine now. Vincent is not doing so well. Thursday night he was transported to Emanual Hospital in Portland after being diagnosed with an intestinal blockage. Don't ever watch "Irreversible"! I rented it last night and watched it with Erin and Michael. I had only heard that it was a deeply disturbing french film.
