I Love My Brother
Ok, for real. My brother is the coolest guy in the world of Johnnys. He just visited an Afghani orphanage.. and it just goes to see that unlike what the media tells, the children LOVE AMERICANS so anyone who believes the media is silly but i guess thats the only thing they have to believe. Believe THIS.

"When we arrived at the orphanage you could already tell that the kids were very excited to see us, they were all running to the gate giving us thumbs up and just pure happiness on their faces. When we got out of the vehicle, we had a security team with us who set up in their security positions. I had a couple of kids come and approach me, they were all wanting to shake hands which I gladly did. It was real cool. It was like we were santa claus coming to visit, these kids were ecstatic. Well to make a long story short, I had one kid start clinging to me and I gave him my automatic pencil and some paper, at which point he started to try and write his name. At another point, I got some candy from Layne Pace and started giving it to the kids, let me tell you, they were like a pack of piranhas, it was kind of funny, because one of the kids jumped in the middle of it and got the other kids to back down, of course he turned to me for a treat as a reward. Anyway, it was great seeing the pure happiness on these kids face, it really was. At a later point, we started to give them some used clothing and shoes and all of that stuff, even the adults got involved in wanting this stuff, it was really cool to see the gratitude on these peoples faces for seeing American people bring them stuff. I am very grateful for the opportunity given to participate in this kind of stuff, it was worth a lot!!! I wish I could have the money to help all of these people and it truly reconfirmed the fact that we do need to be here and that this is a great thing, it is well worth the time and sacrifice I am putting in to be here in this country and to bring these people the same freedoms I get to enjoy, it really was cool!!" - Mark

He also said later in the email: "President Bush definitely did the right thing by sending us here to this country as well as Iraq, in the long term especially not only will Americans benefit from it, but these countries will benefit significantly from it as well!!! I know God lives. Looks like I will be flying a mission tomorrow, finally, man, this mission cycle has been real slow! I hope things pick up or we will really be looking at a long and slow winter!! I love God!!!"
