I know that this is very little consolation, but college is mostly what you make of it. No matter where you go, if you just try a little in your classes and social life, you will have a good time.
And if you get to a school and really don't like it? Transfer. It's not nearly as difficult as it seems, and big Boston schools might be willing to give you a bit more financial aid as a transfer if you've proven you can do college-level work.

fafsa can kiss my ass. >=( my dads frustrated at me too for not being assertive with the people at Dell. He made me call them and wanted me to chew them out about something I never quite understood about a warranty thing. I cant wait till all of this is over and we can all move on with our new lives!
