the studio has become my second home

just started our first model-making assignment
exciting since it's the first but i'm so lost.

gotten used to walking back to my dorm from the studio like at 12:30-1am...
my friend and i get to see all the toads that are about, the sprinklers almost hitting us, and a little black kitty that we have yet to name

so, got the sudden sadness/crying over with...in just one evening and a half
hate it when it happens right when you're talking on the phone

not a good feeling knowing it's evident that you're holding in a sob
and also knowing that the person on the other end knows that if they mention something you're sure to lose it

woke up around 10:30 and soonafter was at a chinese buffet for lunch with my parents

i made the effort (getting out of bed, sacrificing breakfast, etc) hoping that i would get a chance to talk some more before going off to college

but maybe i wasn't awake enough...i didn't say much more than, 'now it's time for dessert!' with a smile.

all my basic dorm supplies have been purchased

i've never spent so much money so fast
ready for independence

...it's amazing how much paper is wasted when purses and bags in stores are stuffed for transport/visual appeal

i refolded all the crumpled pieces so that i could reuse them when moving all my junk
