There was a plastic container full of sausages in the fridge. Took one out and started eating it.
Just finished. Wonder if it was even cooked, didn't notice.
Doesn't matter, it was good.
Ceci: even the bus doesn't have any...opening the windows' enough
Ceci: windows is.
Ceci: how do you contract 'windows is'?
Ceci: is it still windows'? or is windows' only possessive...
Sakami: Iono o_o
Ceci: my brain died =_=
Sakami: XDD
[minutes later...]
Ceci: *BANGS HEAD*
Ceci: I feel stupid
Ceci: Really stupid
Sakami: Why? XD
Ceci: "Windows is" will never be contracted
Ceci: because it's suppose to be windows ARE
Sakami: Well duh XDDD
Ceci: and you didn't tell me?! T___T
Sakami: No =DD Cuz I knew it would hit you soon enough. And then you'd spaz out.
Ceci: T_______T
How embarrassing. Someone remind me how I managed to pass grade one English. -_-
Sometimes I'm really convinced that English is way beyond my level. Just the other day I spent a good hour wondering whether it should be "sheer force" or "shear force" when talking about the rocker...(Asked, suppose to be "shear". Maybe this is why I crap out on English tests; I would've picked "sheer" if it had been a multiple-choice question. T_T;)
Like I said to kyr (yesterday?), it's really hard to think someone intelligent when they won't type properly.
I like reading random strangers' journals.
If you have the brains, and is *that* gifted, pleasepleaseplease use it so that those of us (like me! :D) lacking in those areas don't feel as...uhhh, cheated. *smacked* No, "cheated" isn't the right word. But it's such a waste. I'm not asking for you to spend every second of your life totally devoted to studying/working, because that's crazy. But if you're going to do something, at least give some effort into it (this includes typing!). Maybe not because you want to, but because you *can* with so very little effort.
Went to Misato for the first time (with my Japanese class), it was actually good! (The food, that is. Well, the trip was good too.) Relatively cheap, too.
We couldn't tear our eyes away from that little boy at the restaurant. Sooooo cute, especially with that lick of dark hair curling upwards. @_@ Alycia's right, he's going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up.
Watching him made us so happy-giggly. (E secretly snapped a picture. shhh.)
Someone had written "Go Flames Go" in Chinese and stuck it on the cash cage window. We wondered who wrote that: I didn't do it, Edith didn't do it, Vincy (? I'm not even sure how her name is spelled XD) didn't, Eric didn't. We can't think of anyone else who a) knows how to write Chinese and b) would do that. Hm. Maybe it was one of the staff members...but we only have, like, two Chinese staffs. One of them can't even speak it, let alone write it, and the other one...is really unlikely.
(edit: Carole suggested today that Ryan might have been the one. But Edith and I doubt it.)
Was at the university for cleanup. Went to the washroom, closed the stall door to find a whole debate scrawled on the back. Some of the ink had faded, making it impossible to finish reading. Pity, it was interesting.
We had seeds left over from our biotech project, so Edith and I took them home, five petri dishes each. The ones in the jars got thrown out, the agar looked weird anyway. They're growing nicely (and looks a lot healthier than the so-called sterile ones in the lab). I wonder if it'll stress them too much when I move them to soil (after the agar runs out).
They're so cute. But I don't think I'll work with plants again, it's...rather slow.
Edith's right, we do the little kids stuff in the lab. It's like grade one again, raising caterpillars to learn about metamorphosis. It was a fun experience, no regrets. Well, no, that's not true. I regret having schoolwork to catch up on...XD But it can't be helped.
I want to watch
Ping Pong, but haven't had enough time to sit down and watch the entire thing. Ugh.
I think my library books are overdue.
The end of the school year is approaching faster than ever. Just thinking about it makes the heart hurt, this is too quick. I'm not ready. I'm not done. with anything and everything.
I think it's time for bed, I don't like it.
