This is so cute. So cute. Soooo cute.

My camera (and mp3 player...they were all in the camera bag) is gone dong dong. After going through it with Edith and searching most of the morning, I'm pretty convinced it was stolen, not lost. There was really no chance for it to be misplaced.

Snagged from capush13. Try it yourself here. I received this results several days ago:
Your Brain Usage Profile:
Auditory : 56%
Visual : 43%
Left : 50%
Right : 50%

Cecilia, your hemispheric dominance is equally divided between left and right brain, while you show a moderate preference for auditory versus visual learning, signs of a balanced and flexible person.

Your balance gives you the enviable capacity to be verbal and literate while retaining a certain "flair" and individuality. You are logical and compliant but only to a degree. You are organized without being compulsive, goal-directed without being driven, and a "thinking" individual without being excessively so.

The one problem you might have is that your learning might not be as efficient as you would like. At times you will work from the specific to the general, while at other times you'll work from the general to the specific. Sometimes you will be logical in your approach while at other times random. Since you cannot always control the choice, you may experience frustrations not normally felt by persons with a more defined and directed learning style.

You may also minimally experience conflicts associated with auditory processing. You will be systematic and sequential in your processing of information, you will most often focus on a single dimension of the problem or material, and you will be more reflective, i.e., "taking the data in" as opposed to "devouring" it.

Overall, you should feel content with your life and yourself. You are, perhaps, a little too critical of yourself - and of others - while maintaining an "openness" which is redeeming. Indecisiveness is a problem and your creativity is not in keeping with your potential. Being a pragmatist, you downplay this aspect of yourself and focus on the more immediate, the more obvious and the more functional.

I did it again just now to see if mood has an effect on my results:
Your Brain Usage Profile:
Auditory : 61%
Visual : 38%
Left : 42%
Right : 57%

Cecilia, you show a slight right-hemisphere dominance with a moderate preference for auditory processing, an unusual and somewhat paradoxical combination of characteristics.

You are drawn to a random and sometimes nonchalant synthesis of material. You learn as it seems important to a specific situation, and might even develop a resentment of others who attempt to direct your learning down a specific channel.

Your right-hemispheric dominance provides a structure that is only loosely organized and one which processes entire swatches of reality, overlooking details. You are emotional in your reactions and perceptual more than logical in your approach, although you can impose structure and a language base when necessary.

Your auditory preference, on the other hand, implies that you process information sequentially and unidimensionally. This combination of right-brain and auditory modes creates conflict, as you want to process data more rapidly than your natural processes allow.

Your tendency to be creative and free-flowing is accompanied by sufficient ability to organize and be logical, allowing you a reasonable degree of success in a number of different endeavors. You take in information methodically and systematically which can then be synthesized rapidly. In this manner, you manage to function consistently well, although certainly less efficiently than you desire.

You prefer the abstract and are a theoretician at heart while retaining the ability to be practical. You find the symbolism in a great deal of what you encounter and are something of a "mystic."

With regards to your lifestyle, you have the mentality which would be good as a philosopher, writer, journalist, or instructor, or possibly as a systems designer or social worker. Perhaps most important is your ability to "listen to your inner voice" as a mode of skipping over unnecessary steps to achieve your goals.

Hm. I think this second one is more accurate...I'm not sure. They both have their points.
At least they both agree on one thing: I suck/am inefficient when it comes to learning. Great.

edajj inspired me to make a list of what makes me happy, too.
Back at the beginning of the school year, I started a txt file listing all the things that annoy me. It's interesting how that file really builds up over time...pretty negative, but interesting.

Sooo here's my happy-happy positive list:
+ watching This Hour has 22 Minutes and Royal Canadian Air Farce. If anyone knows where I can get a copy of that Viagra parody 22 Minutes did, you're my hero.
+ listening to music I never get tired of. Like Jay Chou's "Qi Li Xiang". It's addicting. And it has pretty nice lyrics. Oooh, aaah.
+ browsing art sites
+ mindlessly writing study notes. It's my favourite homework-related activity (seriously).
+ chatting on AIM, particularly with a certain few (I've been talking to SmarterChild a lot. It's sad.)
+ having conversations about the stupidest things with the people at school. Not that those conversations come up much anymore...every single time we see each other (usually lunch) it's all about what homework/seminar/project we're doing, in which resource centre we'll be working in, and whether we'll see each other afterschool or if someone's going to be leaving early for volunteering/work/appointment/lesson/tutor. =_=
+ eating.
+ sleeping. Ooooh, sleeping...
+ doodling stick figures brings me much joy.
+ playing tag. But no one'll play tag with me anymore.
+ Christmas songs make me happy even when it's in the middle of July.
+ genmaicha. mmm. << recent addiction
+ playing the piano. When they're songs unrelated to my lessons.
+ playing the horn...not that I play it anymore. But being in a band made me happy.
+ stargazing. Especially with someone, but alone is good too.
+ going out with friends.
+ reading comics. I get a kick out of re-reading Doraemon.
+ and with that, re-watching all the cartoons I watched when I was little.
+ receiving fun SMS
+ going to YMCA with friends on friday nights during summer (even though I suck at whatever we decide to do there)
+ did I mention sleep? Everything is okay after sleeping.
+ receiving mail. (that said, I'll send out letters. Soon. As soon as I figure out what else I can write so that it doesn't look so pathetically short...)
+ other people being happy
+ to sum it up...I'm happiest when I don't have any work to do. Which never happens. :P

lots of work to finish.
I'm going to go write my speech (am running for vice-president of finance and...another position [yet to be decided] in my junior achievement company, elections are next week) and pray to St. Anthony. The lady in humanities suggested the praying, haha.
