I wish public transportation was better here. I'm out from 6:15am to 7pm, and I only work from 8:30am to 5:00pm. :/

One of the reasons that I haven't changed jobs (despite wanting to) is that I don't fancy surrendering my soul to the local railways.

I love how my glasses always break in the wee hours past midnight.
One of my nosepiece just snapped off.

My colleague's glasses randomly disintegrated one day when he was at a customer's site doing some stuff for them.

So uh, 21 days later I'm here replying to your comment. :D

The trains here aren't bad, but the buses are just awful. As long as I can get to a train station I'm good - but it takes me two buses and forty minutes just to get to a train station. And that's if my buses match up.
When I work weekends I have to leave the house with my dad (who starts work at 6am) simply because the bus to get out of my neighbourhood doesn't run until AFTER my shift starts.

Well, my comments are so insightful that it takes three weeks to draft a suitable response. Or something. Err....

So you have to go out of your way to catch a grotty old bus :-( Putting a little forward planning into a train journey isn't so bad because the ride is usually reasonably pleasant. But having to plan a journey on a hot, smelly, stuffy, motion-sickness-inducing bus is no fun at all.

(I don't like riding buses. Can you tell? :-)

o_O Like...the entire frame?I don't know how bad it was, as I wasn't there; he just phoned the office to explain that he had to leave the customer's site to go and get his glasses repaired. I got the impression that it was a fairly serious disintegration; probably one of the screws came out ( ... )

Conversely, I spend far too much time online. :|

Once I banged into a door and broke my glasses. I bang into stuff a lot.

I don't bang into doors, but doorframes I'm SO bad with.

It's great that you're getting along with your cousins :D

Work can be a pain in the butt, but there is money to be had XD It's not so bad if your colleagues are nice to you.

Glasses are somewhat of a burden. Have you considered getting contacts? (I sound like a sales rep -_-)

My colleagues rock. They make this job SO worth it. :D

I have thought about contacts! Because these glasses are doing bad things to the blood vessels by the bridge of my nose. :(

chu! *misses you*... *ish insane*

Yeah... the other day, we got slammed... and this woman was waiting for 10 minutes... needless to say, she was not pleased.

I'm supposed to buy new glasses... >.> But I just spent $120 in Edmonton... so... urk. *ish squished*

I'm glad you're getting along with your cousins! (though I thought there was only one?) I know you were a bit worried about that earlier.

>.< Family dinners... hmm... when was the last time I had one of those?? Let's think... YEARS ago.
