Yard

May 15, 2007 18:07

We have been going on about our back yard for a while now. It's big. It's nice. It's nothing but dirt. I made a few drawings, and Brandi came up with some really cool ideas. I have now put those ideas on paper. Here is what I have come up with.

Enjoy! )

It's for a swing. :) Brandi wants a swing with a canopy to sit right there by our bedroom window.

yeah the porch swing has a canopy on it so i thought that would shade our bedroom window and it will also give us additional seating area and it will be comfortable to sit out there and watch the kids play! :)

then, if we get sick of that, we can just put up a trellis and some honeysuckle and plop the grill on the flagstone. :)

The fire pit will be for wood. None of that bitch ass "electric lighter and no testicles needed" crap. But so you know, there is already a gas line running to the back of the house. There is the perfect spot for one of those $3000 BBQ stations with the minifrige and everything in it. Right there where the flagstone will go by the bedroom window. Perfect spot for it. If we are here when I'm 80, maybe I'll go gas. ;)

Oh, and I'm getting more Quicks this week.

you could share with her that i used to be so scared that i'd have diarrhea right up until it was time to board the plane!

it's something that subsides after you've flown several times... and what helped me a lot was remembering that it is WAY more dangerous to ride in a car than on a plane.

tell her that planes have miles and miles of sky between them, compared to cars that are just a couple feet from each other and packed onto the road.

and of course tell her to pray and pray and pray! God will give her courage. Remind her that she doesn't have to worry because God's got it handled. It's not our job to worry, just to trust that God will keep us safe.
