What a day
And I never thought I'd say that about a work day but man was it a odd day.
It all started with getting into work. I was clocking in and there's 2 guys talking in back. Alex and Jon. Well, Alex is messing with this mic and it's the mic that overheads the whole store. Well, Jon tells him, "be careful with that or you'll turn it on." Alex goes, "Man, nothing is going to happen" and right when he said that he accidently turn it on finishing his sentence, "you see what I'm talkin bout man!" and he hurries up and puts it down and I just started laughing my ass off. The people who were in the back were like "ALEX!!!" lol He didn't get in trouble though. Quite a way to start off my work day.
Well, the day goes on a bit and there's this....ditzy girl named nicole. I normally don't say these things, but she kinda your typical blonde. Well, 2 things happened with her today. Lets start with the first thing. At Target if you didn't know, we use walkies to communicate around the store. Everyone is on channel 1 pretty much. If you need to say something more private, you go to channel 3 or 4. Well, she just bursts out on channel 1 (guests can hear our walkies mind you), "Um....LOD (leader on duty) Stan, can you come down here.....it looks like there's a turd on the floor." XD OMG most of the employees just started cracking up and I just can't believe she blurted that out where anyone near someone with a walkie could hear it. Needless to say, it actually was a turd on the floor. o.O How disgusting! It's a mystery how it got there too. Needless to say, the person leading the store had to clean it up. Nicole thought she was in trouble because I told her to be more discreete (sp?) about what you say on the walkie next time. lol She asked the LOD and he says, "next time, just say it's a code brown." I bursted out laughing and go, "are you serious?!" XD He was serious. We have a new code now. How amazing. "LOD, there's a code shi...I mean a code brown here." XD
That's not enough though. Stan was talking to myself and my the head of electronics Blayne about a new lego game. A Indiana Jones Lego game to be exact. Suppose to be like lego star wars. Nicole is standing there and she's like....so.....what's so fun about that? It's just lego's and you build them right? We're like, "no, it's a game, like Lego Star Wars." Nicole says, "....so...it's a game involving lego's you build." They're trying to explain it to her and I'm like, "Nicole, come here." I show here the case for Lego Star Wars and show her it's a VIDEO GAME. She goes, ".......THAT'S AWESOME!" /).- OMG poor Nicole. lol I had my laugh at her about that one though. Man she is clueless sometimes. *shakes head* ^^;;
Well, if that isn't enough, here's the last thing to make my night. Well, some guests wanted to know if we had lids for these totes there were buying. I said the extras were stored in the back and that I had to go get them. Well, I'm not certified to operate the lift machine thingy since you have to ride it and blah blah blah. IT's called the wavebird but we just call it the wave. Anyway. I had to get someone to get the lids down from very high in back. Well, I got Stan and he said as soon as we find the wave key he'll get them down. After tracking down the key which took awhile, he got in the wave and I went to electronics to cover it while he got it. Well, it started to take awhile and I actually saw the guests walk past who wanted it and I said it'd be a few more minutes. Well, Stan apparently got stuck high up and couldn't get down. XD It took quite awhile and man was he pissed when he finally got down. ROFL! I tried my best not to laugh at him. He goes, "I'm never getting on that again!" I laugh and he goes, "here's your damn box" Well, sadly he took to long because the guests left. If that's not bad enough....I actually told him the wrong location of the box. XD When I scanned it, it was a high location, but for some reason, the boxes were at a level where I could get them. XD Whoo, it was a riot though. Quite a entertaining night.
That was my interesting night. Something else sorta interesting I guess you could say is one of my ex's now works at Target. OMG why?! >.> She doesn't bug me though but anyone I talk to or whom reads my lj might remember the name Debbie. Good gawd I was afraid she'd get the job. She doesn't bug me though. And.....she has a pudgy belly.....yeah...she's pregnant. o.O This might sound wrong of me, but she use to have a girlfriend and when I was cashiering last night, she was talking to me and she said she needs to get off her feet...and I go, "aww, you're fine." She goes, "no...I'm *makes a motion with her belly*" I noticed it after then I was like "OOOOH! I'm sorry. *looks around* Okay.....so I have to ask.....what happened to your girlfriend then. *holds back snicker* She explained what happened between them and I'm like "ahh, I see." *shakes head* Quite funny. She's been back and forth between men and women and now it looks like she's on 1 side for now. *shrugs*
Enough about work. GAMING! I finally found a copy of Obscure and Vincent and myself have played a bit of it. We...tend to get our ass kicked. >.< I swear those damn things are so hard to kill. I always tell him though, "DUDE, GO FOR THE WINDOW! SMASH THE WINDOW!" lol that usually helps since they don't like light. I didn't know there's going to be an Obscure 2. That should be interesting. Other than that. Just pokemon and mainly Hot Shots Tennis. I love that damn game. If you like Hot Shots games and like Tennis or Tennis games at least, you'll like Hot Shots Tennis. It's awesome in my opinion despite some of the bad things that have been said about it. And at 30 bucks you can't beat that. Sure it doesn't have alot of modes, but the real fun is in the tennis matches anyway if you ask me. It reminds me a bit of Mario Tennis....without the specials though.
That's enough for now. That's probably the longest entry I'll ever type. x.x Oh yeah, last but not least my pop'n music controller STILL hasn't arived. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since the money was taken from my account so I'll be emailing to see where the hell my controller is. >.> MUST....PLAY! >.
