Had my first _challenging_ student this weekend. Trouble started on exercise 3 where students straddle walk from small cone to small cone, stopping at each. She did one side on the range just fine but on my side she started heading off the range. I yelled at her to get back next to the small cones and she went even further out. When I finally got

Ouch.

It's always tough to boot someone, IMNSHO. I try to afford them every opportunity, but if someone is a safety risk to themselves or other students, and they aren't picking it up at all, then really.... what else can you do?

Its sucks to do, but you did it. Surprised the more experienced instructor didn't do it, but if you were in charge I can see why.
