Thanks! I confess that I frequently had to go look out my bedroom window (she's parked directly underneath) & drool over her some more.
And I'd love to go riding with you sometime. :) Although, I'm still very much a newbie, so I'll be taking it pretty easy for awhile, while I figure out what I'm doing!
If you wouldn't my wife and our respective girlfriends (SV650 and EX250) to accompany, that kind of itinerary sounds faboo.
Congrats on the Hawk, babe. They are great bikes from what I hear. And kudos on being respectful of the bike. A healthy bit of fear is a good thing when astride a motorcycle.
Would love, love, love to go riding with you & your girls!
Post Burning man when y'all have recovered & we all have more free time would be good. And by that time my thumb will hopefully be healed & I'll be more comfortable on the bike.
I haven't been out of 2nd gear or my neighborhood yet (yesterday was the 1st time on a bike outside of the MSF course that I took back in May). I also have a sprained thumb (arg!) on my clutch hand I need to heal before I can do much riding (which reminds me - calling the dr. now, this has been going on to long).

Now I just need a _lot_ of practice! Today was the first time I'd ever been on a bike outside of the MSF course.

She's a cutie!
If you want to go riding with me and Rosso sometime, I bet they'd get along, both being red naked sportbikes. :)
