I just received your CDs upon arriving home late last night. I listened to much of Disc 1 throughout this morning and loved most all of it, with a few songs in particular that I can tell will be favorites here.

However, I got home tonight and have discovered that my ROM drive, rather than reading CDs, would rather make odd whirring sounds and roundly fail to acknowledge CDs. So I have to get my laptop serviced this week.

I hope to have it back by the next weekend or the beginning of the next week. During this time, I will probably recussiate my PC and use that for stuff but I won't have access to about 50g of digital music on here [though I will be reacquainted with the libraries on my PC] which is to say that a return set of discs may be a bit longer in coming than I had hoped.

But I am really grateful that you have sent me this much music, and I cannot wait until desperation forces me to put my PC back together so I can listen to more.

aww that sucks. sorry my cds broke your computer. it happens, i suppose.
