Initially, I didn't want to participate this year. Last year sucked because I couldn't even get myself to write anything halfway decent. And although I've written a few good pieces this year, that inner devil voice kept saying, "What's the point

If fictional characters didnt make dumb choices and not talk there would be less conflict. And that happens in rl, but not so much. As Chuck would say:"writing is hard".
