Wow. I think I just got a payrise!. And I didn't ask for it, I didn't have to beg for my pay, I didn't have to wait months on end whilst being given dribs and drabs here and there and being made to feel like I was the one being unreasonable for asking for money. Just handed to me, and a day earlier than usual too - how simple, how easy ( Read more... )

Glad to hear all is well. In fact Esther was commenting at dinner this evening that you seemed to be doing well and asking me for gossip. Sadly I didn't have any to give her. Care to give me some?

You will hopefully be be pleased to hear that I had a fabulous lesson on my favourite horse, Bryn, today.

He is so much fun to ride because I don't spend the entire lesson kicking he just goes when I ask. Lovely. Okay he gets a little excite with the jumps after a while and runs at them so gets the timing wrong but its so lovely to be on a horse that tries rather than is trying. You are so right when you say its lovely to get on a good horse for a change I am tired of being told well done you got so much more out of that horse that I would have expected and to actually have fun and get something out of a horse.

Glad to hear all is well and congrats on the pay rise.

lol, nope, no gossip. None at all, nope :D
Nah, it is pretty boring up here in old PN, all I do is work, and hunt pretty much, and that's quite tiring enough!

Glad to hear you're still getting Bryn!! Have you had any luck with the neck reining?? Sneakily taught him anything new when instructor isn't watching?? :) Yeah, it makes a difference when you're on a horse that wants to work with you straight off, rather than having to convince it that he does want to work with your (...or else...! :P ) Yep, at least you know he's trying with the jumps and then you can help teach him something (to be calm and hopefully get his strides right, or whatever...).....
