Thesis is in rough draft form! Next month involves editing and formatting, but what excitement to actually see that I'll be a graduate. For so long I thought this was just something that I was overwhelming myself with and i had bitten off too much. My thesis is seriously kicking my ass. I am so frustrated because i feel like there is so much to say and then i don't know how to say it, and then i learn that i have to write those parts somewhere else in my thesis and do something completely different for where i was writing. A new beginning
About time, lets celebrate! Already the outlook is far more positive and uplifting. I think we can all be proud of our country right now.
Also, how cute that Michelle wore a yellow dress and green shoes and gloves, I just have to wonder if it was an inside joke with her Brother, you know the bball coach at osu. -

Isn't it interesting to see how people we know have spread out across the country, even world. I can even count myself in that I'm down here living in a major city. earthquake prediction?
So i think there's something odd about me. Every so often I get to thinking wow we haven't had an earthquake in a long while, seems like one could be happening soon. then within a day or two, we have an earthquake. latest was last night where i was thinking about this idea and even went to the usgs foreshock page to see what our likelyhood was, ( Read more... ) -

i hate unhelpful government employees. when we got back from oregon I had a letter saying i was summoned for jury duty, which would have been this tuesday. only i'm still an oregon resident, or at least paying out of state tuition so i feel this is a little bit inconvient when i do not recieve the benefits (or the one which would specificly help me ( Read more... ) -

I'm finally feeling better about being back down here. There is a strong sense of displacement traveling from home to "home." Now I can focus on thesis problems. Which I have time to do, and yet want to distract myself from. Next week I get to spend a few days working which will be good for my sanity. this has been a really busy past few months. im not sure where to start nor wither i will actually cover everything since thats a lot of backtracking. I will be back in oregon thursday, midday so long as the train is ontime. then we will be around until jan. 6/7th ( Read more... ) -
type type type
typing from my new keyboard, it's sweet! the keys are quiet like the keys on a laptop because it uses the switchkey style. then it adds two extra usb ports for me. and on top of all this it cost $20 less than the other keyboard that im returning to office max tomorrow because it uses something else to connect to my computer thats not usb. yay for ( Read more... )
