Aw, this is neat! Very interesting to see what's changed and what hasn't. Is it odd that I can see Helen being even more into Shawna's training than Henry and Shawn, just because she would have worked that much harder as a female police chief? Anyway, Carla's great too, I think her and Shawna would be pretty darn adorable together.

Thanks very much! Yeah, I think that Helen is definitely more intense than Henry, because she has to know everything he does as well as how to deal with the shit that probably came from being a woman cop in the seventies and eighties.

oh my gosh, your shawna sounds hot. lol, just kidding. reading about shawn and gus as girls is actually really interesting. but lassie as a girl is hard to imagine, aha. i'm almost tempted to go search for more female!shawn fics. i'd really like to see this as a full story somewhere. but ahh, wishful thinking. anyways, i love the fic (:
