This is one of the most adorable things I have ever seen, ever. My goodness, I want to pick him up and snuggle him and I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate it at all.

I bet Kliff sometimes took little Ky with him to dinner parties just to unleash his puppy eyes on unsuspecting nobility with tight purse stringsand getting enthusiastically smothered in hugs is how they discovered his affinity with lightning magic.

I hope that hug involved Kliff and not some delicate noble lady because ouch. That could be fatal.
