the only people i know who had success with adoption started with fostering, intending to adopt that way. a white couple in their early 40's that ended up with a 4 year old black boy whose mom still wanted him but lost him because of her continued drug use/neglect.

i'm sorry this hasnt worked for you, that really sucks.

glad the dogs are doing well and yay for weaning off seizure meds!
