Can we just say I'm not good at keeping up with stuff online lately and leave it at that? One of these days I really will get more of those prompts written, I promise

Wow - I forgot you had THAT many degrees. Of course, if I lived closer to my alma mater, I'd probably be one of those people forever auditing classes, as a lifelong learner. :D Anyway, good luck with the creative writing class!
Yeah - BA, MA, PhD in history, and MLIS in library science. After that last I had to promise my SO that I wouldn't go back to school for at least 5 years (although what he meant was not to do so in order to change careers again that quickly). ;)
If I ever won the lottery, I'd spend the rest of my life taking classes of one sort or another, not necessarily for more degrees but possibly so. Linguistics. Paleontology. Astrophysics (for which I'd need years more math first). All kinds of stuff!
Good luck with the degree - sounds like so much fun!
Where are you going in Britain? I'm taking my son on an 'art' tour, going to Amsterdam first, then all over Britain (Bath, Anglesey, possibly Dublin, Manchester, and finally a week in London) - a total of three weeks. I'm exhausted just thinking about it!
Thanks! We're spending a week in London, a week near Bath, and a week in the Peaks District - with day excursions from each locale. The vague theme is to see literary landmarks, so places where either authors lived or set their works, that kind of thing. It's going to be me, my SO, and my mom who is in her 70s so we're going to take it at an easy pace. :) Hope your trip is good too!
