I was on Gmail yesterday, and if you have a Gmail account you know how they have links that (I suppose) are related to content in your inbox. For some reason I got one about an Arkansas couple having their 17th kid. Now, why on earth I got that link, I don't know, because frankly? The very thought disgusts me. It's morally repugnant to have that many kids. I don't care what your religious beliefs are, it's unethical and immoral to burden the world that way. One, no problem. Two, even three I can see as okay, but seventeen? No. Just, no. Remember, kids, condoms are your friends.
Harry/Draco for the win. I love writing Harry/Draco. Yeah, I know some of you find it a really unlikely pairing (and for others it's your OTP). I just like writing them. Yeah.
My preferred grocery store has been sold to another local chain. This is a Bad Thing. I will have to see what changes happen there... there are closer stores belonging to that local chain, but I've never been thrilled by them. *sighs* Selection and quality both less good.
Was, however, totally thrilled to be listed on hogwarts_today for Rumors. (The defensive and self-deprecating bit of me says that it was a slow day for fic, what with all the LJ deletion uproar... but it was kind of a cool story, if I do say so myself.)
One final link, an interesting article on subconscious "priming": Who's Minding the Mind. A quote from near the end: "'We know that as soon as people feel they're being manipulated, they do the opposite; it backfires,' he said." Can I give a big old WORD to that, as I am a stubborn bitch and telling me what I should do is the surest way to get me to dig in my heels.
Now, to run errands, mow lawn, and other exciting stuff...
