Well, it's been quite a day. We got back from the woods to find Folly stuck in the sink and learn that Bingo had sent word, and to find mathoms for him from Elly. Then who should show up later but the delightful Elly herself looking more radiant than ever. Yeah, it's weird. It's kind of like a vision, you know? *looks at Celly, just coming back to herself* Only there's smell, too. And feel . . . but that's really weird--I couldn't describe it. *sees her lover's puzzled look* It's not mine. I mean, not my feelings. *slides her hands around Celly's arms to her back and tightens her hold of her* I don't feel alone. I got an armful of you. I feel . . . a little empty . . . and the cold . . . but that isn't my feeling of aloneness. or smell. *sniffs* You have that plum scent I like.

*nods* I think I must be. Though why she's feeling alone and smelling honeysuckle, I have no idea. He couldn't have lost her already?
