Empathy seems to be my word of the year. It has come up in a number of different contexts in such a way that I have spent a lot of time thinking about it. I love how you have presented it here Kiri! You give such rich examples and really challenge us to think about what it really means to think empathetically, how important it is for our internal selves to be engaged with others through love and understanding. One of the only treatments that has been shown through research to help people get out of depression is doing good things for other people ( ... )
