My dog just ate my wallet. She had to jump over the gate out of the kitchen and go into my purse to get it, but that's what she did. Credit cards, license, more than $100 in cash... none of it completely beyond recall (both of the credit cards and the license expire within three months anyway) but it was a nice wallet and I'm kind of annoyed that

When you decide to go back, you could also hang tin pie plates off the gate so they make noise when she approaches it, and that may keep her from trying to get over it. OH, alternative to taller one - can you mount it a few inches taller, so that it is still low enough that she can't squeeze under, but taller so she can't get over it?
I think you need 50% of a bill to redeem it. Maybe if you go to the bank they'll take pity on you.
Sampson would like you to know that at the ripe old age of 3 he may be starting to calm down.

my dog has never eaten my cash or cards, but she has eaten my/my roommates' fancy face soaps and chocolates, the latter of which was VERY VERY expensive (and scary)!
if your dog gate is too low, a hinged dowel above can be made for about three bucks. (wowftvoe....)
