Chewing your own elbow off might have been easier than getting that dumpster.
She is lovely. And when I was tuning her, it was like she decided that I could play her, because as it was such a struggle and then all of a sudden all three strings almost tuned themselves. And stayed in tune, which I didn't expect.
The case quest goes slowly. No one seems to have any real ideas, even Joe who made the hardanger fiddles couldn't give me any real ideas.
Also, do you know that I'm getting paid to read books? Awesome.
Hey, I like those. There's lots of padding, which is good. What colours do you think she'd look best in? ;)
Plumbing at the house seems to be better, I did bunches of laundry yesterday, and dishes, and took a shower, and nothing backed up. The barn bathroom seems to have sprung a leak, however.
My first trip to Iceland Gígja and Guðmar took me to a booksale at Perlan and there was a book on playing the langspil. I regret that I did not buy it.
These booksales happen once or twice every year, and I am sure that book is there every time, so if you want it, just ask someone you know that is actually in Iceland to pick it up for you when it's cheap.

(It always made me sad that mom gave up so much music.)
