The issue I have with Luke right now is that when I talked to him he consistently repeated "Andy is a cheater" and that makes me furious because Andy doesn't cheat. If someone thinks he isn't taking his hits then he should be talked to and told "hey dude, watch your math, I think you might be off" and approach it tactfully, not like a giant douchebag. There wasn't any mention when I spoke to Luke on Monday of anything but Andy being a cheater, and THAT boys and girls, is why I am so angry ( ... )

Or after the mod pull him aside and say "hey Andy, you were swinging too hard at least to me, can you watch it just a bit" he would have been fine.

I can tell you exactly why I didn't do this, but I can't speak for others. I didn't pull Andy aside after the mod because it breaks game - plain and simple. I HATE when people break game and I especially don't want to do it for a reason that might turn into a discussion. Ever since I first started playing this game, oh six or seven years ago I guess now that you bring issues up to a marshal or the chapter owner and that's exactly what I did.

Again, no one asked they just jumped on him to Luke.

I think your perception is different than what actually happened. I don't think anyone actually jumped on Andy or was trying to attack Andy by talking to Luke. It was just a lot of people noticed similar things and it was enough that Luke had to say something. Again, I'm not saying that the way that Luke did it was the best way, but that's not up to me to decide.

But I bet THAT didn't get back ( ... )

There were complaints that he didn't appear to be having a good time, and at least briefly he did, but again, nothing like this was mentioned to Luke, even though there were NPCs and PCs who witnessed it ( ... )

So this is a totally hyperfocused reply that's not about the main issue but about a very small bit of what you said. Regarding not complaining to Luke about an NPc disrupting the in game atmosphere and RP, I just wanted to offer a different perspective that might help in whatever LARPs you play in the future. Basically, I really think you should tell the game runners about disruptive NPCs (or PCs for that matter). Now, maybe you wait until the event is over, maybe you do it in person or in e-mail or post event summary letter or whatever, but I do think it's worth doing. It's not about singling the NPC out as a bad person, but if you tell the staff of a game about something that has negatively impacted your fun, then you're helping them make the game better. They can react to it one way or another. It's not a bad thing to bring this sort of thing up and it's not something you should just sort of have to perpetually deal with. If you're playing a game and something bothers you, it's not whining and not a character flaw to go ahead and ( ... )

Let me first start off by saying that I consider both parties in this discussion friends, but I am calling it like I saw it ( ... )

I'm done arguing. I'm sorry if I swing to hard. I will take steps to control my swings. I'm sorry if I was not taking hits. I will try better in the future to ensure my mental math is up to speed. I'm sorry if my armor pys rep is junk I will make steps to get a proper rep. I'm sorry to everyone hurt by me in the past and at this past event. Good luck to you all in the future of Metro and I will miss playing with you. I will still be around other places if you need me.
