Starting to get really excited about the possibility of playing.  I have so much stuff in my head in terms of costuming, etc.  Now to read the rules and figure out HOW to play and a backstory, etc

Don't worry about that shit. People don't worry about whether it has happened before in another medium, they only care that it is entertaining.

Make it personal to the players. The more a plotline is personalized the less it matters that it's been done before. From personalization comes originality; the plotline is keyed off the inventions of the players and they are easier to invest in it that way.
