Its pretty much the same on CNJ. DPSing feels ok when you're not lagging, mostly because the cast times take up most of the GCD. But it sucks the second you have to heal, especially if you get interrupted or have to move. 3 seconds is a lifetime.
I don't mind FFXI HD style in the slightest, but I can't see it working like this. Even in XI you could drop OHSHI- buttons immediately.. not that their were many. Their answer so far has been "wait for haste gear".
Will have to wait and see, but either way this is small potatoes if they can't fix the above. GCD certainly won't matter in the slightest if you're still dieing 10 steps clear of void zones.
