Oh my.

Well, I did always believe that strong prose should provoke a reaction, but I think this particular reaction might be just a little extreme, considering the text that's inspired it. Could it be that something about this place encourages extremes of emotion? To manipulate people away from rational responses? A question for another time ( Read more... )

Then perhaps it would be an idea to write less pointed stories? I mean, I doubt that people would mind so much if you didn't draw so many parallels with present company.

Agreed. Though, this kind of happens anytime something bad happens. People on the barge really have a short tolerance level.
