Where were you? We needed you! I thought you were coming, you had to come, you know the Master and he knows Davros so you have to know Davros, you wouldn't let this happen and...you were really my only hope.

I'm sorry, people had already died. Perhaps it would have made a difference with me there, but for all those people it would have been to late. I had to make a decision and...

Even with time travel on your side, you can't be in two places at once, it creates a paradox, it wounds the time stream, and I had to go and find the Admiral.

Yes, perhaps. Only, I suppose for people like us something being in the past doesn't really put it at that great a distance. I mean, Tempest Fugit is all very well for most people, but--
