Pain is gone but still have numbness

My chin is STILL numb! WTF?!?! XP It's so annoying! I feel like there's a huge lump of dough on my face and there's nothing that I can do about it. Grrr! I've been starting to think that it's something serious. I remember the dentist saying that sometimes patients will feel permanently numb on their chin since there's a nerve there that runs along

You mean when you touch it, you still get that post-novacaine feeling of spongy uckness? D:

I ... don't think that's normal. Even if you have excess novacaine, I think that would just increase the intensity of the numbness or the area of the numbness, not the duration. .__.; Not that I know anything about biology but... that just sounds really not good. It can't hurt to call... you should just go online and get the number and call yourself, at least it'll give you peace of mind if they say not to worry about it. D:
